Establishing wind power within nature conservation areas in eco-parks or within what we call exchangeable nature conservation forests is not currently being considered.
Generally speaking Sveaskog has a restrictive approach to the establishment in eco-parks, depending to a degree on the purpose of the park and its character. In addition when it comes to decided and agreed upon eco-parks, Sveaskog is not permitted to make available or release some areas of land without the written permission of the Swedish Forest Agency.
With regard to other types of Sveaskog nature conservation forest outside those mentioned, they shall be avoided as much as possible when establishing wind power. In cases where such nature conservation forests are nevertheless directly affected, new nature conservation forests will be selected and assigned to replace these in Sveaskog's holdings.
