Wide range of services
Svenska Skogsplantor began operations in 1994 and has developed from being only a seed and plant producing company to being able to provide a wide range of services within the whole forest management sector. The company's personnel are experts in forestry and work with modern techniques. Svenska Skogsplantor has the capacity to produce and distribute millions of plants.
Range
The range primarily consists of forest plants of many types of coniferous and deciduous trees, but also plants for, among other things, game preservation and Christmas tree cultivation. Production includes container plants as well as bare-root plants and TePlus. Svenska Skogsplantor now also develops machinery for the mechanical insecticides Conniflex and BetaQ. Large scale delivery of mechanically pine weevil-protected seedlings can start in 2009.
The seed station in Lagan is responsible for the setting, cultivation and harvest of our seed plantations, as well as the harvest of seeds from approved and registered stands.
