Sveaskog owns 14% of the forest land in Sweden.

Sweden has a total land area of about 41 million hectares. 22.9 million hectares of this is productive forest land.

Sveaskog owns about 4.1 million hectares, of which some 3.1 million
is productive forest land. This means that we own almost 14% of the total productive forest land in Sweden, which makes us the largest forest owner in the country. In a global comparison, Sveaskog is also a significant forest owner.

Our holdings are distributed throughout the country, but the majority are situated in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. We also own a considerable amount of forest in the Bergslag area and central Götaland.
