Our work with sustainable development is supported by a number of policies and guidelines. The manager for environmental and social responsibility issues has overall responsibility for coordination and follow-up with regard to the targets the company and group boards have established. At Sveaskog the responsibility for environmental issues and social responsibility lies with the managers within the line organisation.
On the basis of GRI
Annual reporting of performance with respect to environment and social issues is done according to the same principles as financial reports, with targets, key figures and indicators. The 2008 sustainability report is based on GRI and is signed by the group board.
Management systems
Sveaskog is certified according to ISO 14001 and the forest is certified according to the Swedish FSC
®-standard. Deviation can be reported on our intranet.
