Sveaskog carries out felling operations every year (thinning and regeneration felling) on about 40,000 hectares. All felling is planned on the basis of the Swedish FSC® standard, which takes into account economic, environmental and social aspects.
And it is carried out by both our own employees and contractors. Our own felling organisation consists of some 40 machines and 150 operators. We also have considerable cooperation with contractors: more than 150 machine groups with 600 employees are engaged throughout Sweden
