Planning, control and follow-up are important in order to optimise Sveaskog’s timber and biofuel business. We use a business control system, VALS, for this. This is an IT system that covers all the processes involved in sales, purchase, felling and logistics.
VALS is used for, among other things, communication with machine teams concerning the volumes to be delivered when and where. Using the system, Sveaskog's logisticians can easily follow deliveries and adapt transportation to suit customers' needs.
