Who can apply?
We're looking for applicants with formal education in the field, with majors in forestry, forest technology, forest science or forest engineering, and who have graduated within the past three years. You should be interested in a future as a qualified specialist or management employee at Sveaskog. You should be curious, goal oriented and responsible. You should also be open to working at various sites. One of the requirements for applying is that you have a class B driving license.
Theory and practice
We have prepared a programme that combines theory and practice so as to provide the prerequisites for a successful career in our stimulating world. For us, it's important that our trainees spread our core values of dialogue, respect and added-value to others through their own personal values and ways of working.
First-rate training
Our trainee programme will probably not immediately lead to a management position. However, you will become very familiar with our operations, establish an extensive contact network and receive opportunities for personal development in a unique manner.
Training supervisors and mentors
You will be supported during each programme block by a training supervisor. Training supervisors are responsible for everyday work. During the final six months of the programme, you will be assigned a mentor who will provide support to help you utilise the knowledge required for future job duties. Our intention is that your mentor will also follow your progress after completion of the trainee programme.
