Here is some information on the different sales models.

Standing forest (Origin 2)

When all the trees to be felled within the felling area have be marked and measured, a list of marked trees is compiled. This list is then used as the basis for calculating the timber volume and value.

Delivery timber at the road (Origin 3)

The price list on which the calculation of the timber value is based is stipulated in the contract. As the forest owner, you fell and transport the timber to the roadside. Sveaskog arranges transportation to industry where the volume and value are determined.

Felling assignment (Origin 4)

The price list on which the calculation of the timber value is based is stipulated in the contract. Sveaskog arranges felling and transportation to industry where the volume and value are determined.

Felling assignment (Origin 5)

The price list on which the calculation of the price for the timber is based is stipulated by Sveaskog in the contract. Sveaskog arranges felling and transportation to industry where the volume and value are determined. The net value of the felling assignment is based on the actual felling costs.

Delivery stumpage purchases (Origin 6)

We establish a fixed net price in the contract, either per product or as a total average price per m3sub. Sveaskog arranges felling and transportation to industry where the volume of timber is determined.

Timber measurement with harvester (Origin 7)

Timber measurement with a harvester entails the m3sub volume of the trunks being registered in the harvester's computer during the felling operation. The information is then sent wirelessly from the conversion computer direct to the forest industry's IT company, SDC, where all the processing, pricing, and seller and buyer reports are compiled.

Delivery timber in the forest (Origin 8)

The contract stipulates the price list for the calculation of the timber's value and costs for transportation of timber to the roadside. Do your own felling. Sveaskog arranges for transportation of the felled timber to the roadside as well as from there to industry, where the volume and value are determined.

You are paid for the timber on the basis of the price list stipulated in the contract. Different qualities have different values. The price is governed by supply and demand. If you have arranged for Sveaskog to carry out felling and/or transportation, the cost for this is deducted from the revenue given by the timber.
