Sveaskog is running R&D projects within six areas: growth and climate, technological development, new areas of use, environment and ecology, wood and fibre as well as use of land.
New knowledge will enable us to make better use of wood raw material and ensure a long term demand for it. Sveaskog has set aside 8,000 hectares of forest land for different research parks.
Sveaskog runs R&D projects in cooperation with universities and trade research institutions. We are increasing the number of projects run by ourselves at the same time as investing in development companies as well as demonstration and pilot installations.
