The many values the forest incorporates mean that there is considerable interest in it. In order to accommodate and develop cooperation between the interest groups, we are running projects to increase use of land by several parties. This can, for example, entail changes in forestry methods in order to reduce lichen cover during land preparation, or using alternative felling methods.
