We are very proud of the fact that leading schools and universities nationwide engage us for salmonoid and aquatic research. With our unique experience and knowledge we can offer services within fish conservation such as, electrical fishing, netting tests, biotope conservation and much more.

Mörrums Kronolaxfiske is involved with several projects in conjunction with colleges and universities. Amongst other things, we are researching thiamine deficiency in salmon, oestrogenic studies and genetic studies. Research results are regularly updated to the website. Amongst the universities we are associated with you will find, SLU’s freshwater laboratory, Stockholm University, Lund University, Karlstad University and several of the leading research and knowledge centers throughout the country.

Aside from these projects, we also try and find as much time as possible to help students with their dissertations, covering anything from freshwater studies to national economics.

Every year we will receive students who are interested in observing the manner in which we work. We are also engaged to help other water authorities whom may find our methods useful.

If you would like to share some of our knowledge and experience in this area then feel free to contact Henric Persson. Henric is responsible for research and fish conservation at Mörrums Kronolaxfiske.
