Catch and release and registration of larger fish
Fish that you aim to release should be handled carefully and placed in the water as quickly as possible. Larger fish (including larger released fish) should always be registered at our weighing in stations situated in Mörrum, next to Laxens Hus or att www.morrum.com.

Permitted angling areas
An angling licence can be obtained for any one of four areas of the river, A-D. These are outlined in a pamphlet that is available at Laxens Hus, you can pick up this pamphlet in conjunction with the purchase of your angling licence.  The boundaries for areas where angling is permitted are marked by signposts along the river

Special rules for angling
According to the regulations of the national board of fisheries (FIFS 2004:37)fishing rods may ot be baited with worm, also it is not permitted to target or catch salmon, sea trout or hybrids thereof. Float fishing or fishing with weighted casting floats is allowed but should not be allowed to impede other fishermen. Wading is not allowed when angling. Anglers are always expected to let fly fishermen or spin fishermen “fish through”.
