In the mid-1930s, a salmon and trout hatchery was established here in Mörrum, in collaboration between the former Domänverket and the Swedish Board of Agriculture's fisheries unit. A few years later, in the midst of the raging world war, it became possible for the public to buy fishing licenses and fish with a rod for salmon and sea trout in the Mörrum River.
In the fish farm which has been expanded since the 1930s and is now closed, we have four rooms for rent. Laxen and Öringen are single rooms with a simple kitchenette for self-catering. Iden is a double room with a simple kitchenette for self-catering. Öringen, Laxen and Iden have shared showers and toilets. Kungsforsen is also a double room with a simple kitchenette for self-catering and has its own shower and toilet.

If you plan to arrive after we have closed, please let us know by 12:00 on the arrival date at the latest so that we can hang out the key to your booked accommodation in our delivery room. It is behind a black door to the left of the entrance to Laxens Hus. You get the code for the door when contacting us.
If you plan to check out early before we open, please let us know when you check in.
Check-in from 2 p.m. Check-out no later than 11.00
If you have booked breakfast vouchers, you will receive these in connection with check-in.
Parking: If you have booked accommodation in Laxagården, there is parking right next to the cottage.
If you have booked Håvstugan, Laxen, Öringen, Strömstaren or Kungsfiskaren, you park in the designated place along the long side of the brown building.
