Elleholm is located about 4 kilometers south of Mörrum. Here it is not far to paddle out to the mouth of the Mörrumsån River in the Baltic Sea. Here you will find sandy beaches, an archipelago and the open sea. You can also choose to just paddle in the Mörrumsån River, both upstream and downstream. Where the canoes and kayaks are located is Elleholmsön, in the middle of the Mörrumsån River. On one side flows the main channel of the Mörrumsån River and on the other side a narrower channel, in the channel you have the feeling of paddling in the Amazon. Here you paddle past Elleholms Church and Elleholms Hofgård.

Cost:
Canoe/Canadian with 3 seats 400 SEK per day.
Double kayak with 2 seats, 400 SEK per day.
Single kayak with 1 seat, 300 SEK per day.

Kayaks and Canoes:
We have 2 aluminum canoes with space for 3 people, 2 double kayaks and 2 single kayaks. All kayaks are equipped with rudders. Life jackets and paddles are included as well as a canopy for the kayaks
Routines for handing over and returning a canoe or kayak:
After you have booked your kayak or canoe, you can pick up keys, life jacket, paddle and canopy at the reception at Mörrums Kronolaxfiske during regular opening hours.

Canoes and Kayaks are located on land at Elleholm on the west side of the Mörrumsån, about 5 meters from the water. Parking space and toilet directly adjacent to the kayaks and canoes. When you have finished paddling, clean the canoe or kayak. Wash off any dirt, empty the kayak or canoe of water, buckets, bucket and sponge for cleaning are available at the kayak/canoe stand. Put the canoe or kayak back in the same place where you took it and make sure it is locked after cleaning. Leave the key, paddle, life jacket and canopy at the reception during regular opening hours.

If you leave the key after our opening hours, leave it in the return room located to the left of the entrance doors to Laxens Hus. A black-painted door with a glass pane.

To the left of the door is the code lock. Enter the code and open the door. Directly to the left inside the door is a shelf with a basket on it, put the key in the basket and close the door to the return room. Here you also leave the life jacket, paddles and canopy. The code to the return room can be found in the booking confirmation.

Breakdown, safety and conduct
Always wear a life jacket. Weather and wind can change quickly! Outside the mouth of the Mörrumsån River, both waves and wind can cause problems. Respect animals, nature and the people who live in the area. Do not disturb, do not destroy - The right of access means that we all have access to nature, but this includes both rights and obligations. This means taking responsibility for nature and wildlife and showing consideration for landowners and other visitors. We expect you to take all your garbage with you from the places you visit and put it in one of our established garbage sorting stations.
