Sveaskog’s interim report January–March 2026: Focus on future-proofing in a turbulent world

The operating profit decreased by 19 per cent to MSEK 678 (839). The decrease is mainly attributable to lower timber prices. The average prices of deliveries from Sveaskog’s own forest decreased by 8 per cent from the corresponding period of the previous year.

Sveaskog’s interim report January – September 2025: Strong earnings in an increasingly uncertain world

The operating profit decreased by 2 per cent in the third quarter, amounting to SEK 386 million (392). The decrease is explained by provisions of SEK 80 million, which were reversed during the corresponding quarter in 2024. Average prices for deliveries from the company’s own forest increased by 13 per cent compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.

Operating profit increased by 48 per cent and amounted to MSEK 740 (500). The improvement in earnings is mainly attributable to higher timber prices. The average prices of deliveries from Sveaskog’s own forest increased by 28 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year.

Operating profit increased by 41 per cent and amounted to MSEK 839 (593). The improvement in earnings is mainly attributable to higher timber prices. The average prices of deliveries from Sveaskog’s own forest increased by 23 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year.

Sveaskog publishes Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024

Sveaskog’s operating profit for 2024 increased by 44 per cent and amounted to MSEK 2,060 (1,429). The Board of Directors proposes that the Annual General Meeting in April resolves on a dividend to the owner, the Swedish State, of MSEK 1,203 (1,207). The market for wood raw materials, which has been favourable for several years, with record high raw materials prices, has contributed to a strong annual financial result for Sveaskog, despite lower delivered volumes.

Operating profit increased by 44 per cent and amounted to MSEK 2,060 (1,429). Higher timber prices have been offset by lower volumes from Sveaskog’s own forest, as well as increased costs for felling, forest management and nature conservation.
