Sveaskog Baltfor SIA

Sveaskog Baltfor SIA is one of the largest Swedish-owned timber purchasing companies in Latvia. Its headquarters are located in Riga.

Sveaskog imports about 1 million cubic metres of timber annually. Most of the timber comes from the subsidiary Sveaskog Baltfor SIA, which is responsible for imports from the Baltic market. Imports consist of pulpwood, cellulose chips and a growing share of biofuels.

Sveaskog Finans

The subsidiary Sveaskog Finans provides financing solutions in the form of leasing and installment purchases of forestry machines to contractors working for Sveaskog.
