Hunting licences

Sveaskog’s land holdings consist of approximately 4.1 million hectares across the whole of Sweden. About 25,000 hunters currently hunt over that area – and there is room for more.

Hunting rights are much in demand, and our ambition is to enable more people to hunt. To that end, Sveaskog is focusing actively on developing our hunting offerings in order to attract more new hunters to our lands.

Licensing of hunting rights (hunting leases)

We grant hunting licences to private individuals, hunting parties, associations, societies and nature tourism businesses. Usually the right to hunt covers all hunting, but it may also be limited to small game hunting or big game hunting, or to specific species. So, hunters “rent” the right to hunt in a specific area for a specific period.

Limited-period hunting

We offer hunters a choice of hunting areas where they can hunt for a limited period by using credits on a hunting pass – a simple way of discovering new hunting grounds and types of game. Sveaskog’s small game hunting pass can be purchased here on the website.
