Mörrums Kronolaxfiske is owned and run by Sveaskog, Sweden's largest owners of forest and water. Sveaskog are aware the importance of taking a long term view regarding the long term care and management of the river Mörrum. In conjunction with our colleagues around the country we can raise questions and influence matters relating to rivers and lakes.
Sveaskog is Sweden’s largest forest owner. It is owned by the Swedish State. The Company owns 14 percent of Sweden’s forests, operates in some 170 municipalities and has more than 750 employees country-wide.
Sveaskog’s core business consists of cultivating forests, as well as supplying timber, pulpwood, wood chips, biofuels, seedlings and forestry services. Sveaskog rounds out supplies from its own forests through purchases from other forest owners, barter deals and imports. Our customers operate mainly in the Swedish forest industry, which exports all over the world. In addition, Sveaskog deals in the land and wind power sectors and develops the forest as a place for fishing, hunting and other country activities.
